About H.E.R.S.
Danny L. Weiss, president of the former organization called I.S.C.E. (International Society for a Complete Earth), is the director and CEO of the newly-formed Hollow Earth Research Society (H.E.R.S.). He has been an intrepid researcher in Hollow Earth lore since his meeting with an ex-German WW II submarine officer in 1976. This officer served on the U-530 which, along with the U-977, reportedly visited the alleged Nazi base in Antarctica just as the war was ending.

Hollow Earth Theories
The Hollow Earth Theory of one kind or another has actually been around for a very long time. While the very first ideas could today be considered rather whimsical and unsophisticated, the suggestion has gradually gained traction over time in some quarters. There have even been some hints from satellite photos which indicate that there may be more substance to the idea than most people would believe.

Hollow Earth Expedition
Even though European scientists were the first credible observers to float the idea of a hollow earth to the general public, it was an American, John Cleve Symmes, who first brought international attention to the idea of a world within the earth. He came to be the most enthusiastic supporter of the concept of a Hollow Earth Expedition.

Authors, Enthusiasts & More
Hollow Earth tales have surfaced since man first walked on two legs. Our ancestors sheltered themselves in caves for many more generations than they have lived in houses. Haunting cave drawings from the dawn of time remain as mute testimony that early humans probed and speculated about the deep recesses of the earth. Small wonder that the idea of life underground – a hollow earth – has obsessed many since well before recorded time.

Agartha
The subterranean civilization, of Agharta is believed to represent a continuation of Atlantean civilization, which, having learned the lesson of the futility of war, remained in a state of peace ever since, making stupendous scientific progress uninterrupted by the setbacks of recurrent wards, as our surface civilization has been. Their civilization is many thousands of years old (as Atlantis sunk about 11,500 years ago), while ours is very young, only a few centuries old.
